Guanacaste Lots consists of 29 lots, one of which already has a house with running water and electricity. The lots range in size between 750 m2 (8072 sq feet) and 7500 m2 (80729 sq feet). The project has two types of lots: front lots and back lots. Front lots have a rectangular shape and one of their sides is along the Cañas-El Vergel road. Back lots have an independent entrance and are located behind the front lots. Front lots are more accessible while back lots are more private.

The House has a construction area of 166 m2 (1786 sq feet). It consists of three bedrooms and three bathrooms, kitchen, dinning room, living room, laundry area and terrace with a view of the teak plantations. All this in a lot of 1500 m2 (16145 sq feet), which means there is ample open space around the house.
The Project
Rio Cañas farm is a teak plantation within a natural forest. The farm is located in Guanacaste, 2 km (<1.5 miles) from the town of Cañas. It is a farm of great beauty because of its teak plantation, abundance of natural forest and its closeness to the Cañas river. It is not easy to find a farm with these characteristics so close to a town, which is why the decision was made to separate the border of the farm adjacent to the road and create lots for living. Just like that Guanacaste Lots was created!
Guanacaste Lots is located in the Province of Guanacaste, in the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. It is close to the town of Cañas which has all the necessary services (shops, pharmacies, hospital, etc.). The Liberia International Airport (LIR) is about a one hour drive from Guanacaste Lots on a newly built highway.
Among the destinations with flights to and from LIR are: Los Angeles, Vancouver, Calgary, Minneapolis, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, New York, Boston, Baltimore, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Panama, London, Amsterdam.
Guanacaste Lots are so well located that it is possible to work from here and still be less than an hour away from an international airport. In other words why wouldn’t you like to live and WFH or in this case Work From Heaven!
Why invest in Guanacaste?
Besides its location and natural beauty, the lots are adjacent to Rio Cañas teak farm. This farm extends over 226 hectares (558 acres). The farm has paths that can be used for hiking, horseback riding or mountain biking. Owners of Guanacaste Lots will be allowed to access the farm and enjoy nature and the views from the top of the farm. If you are lucky enough chances are you’ll run into some deer or howling monkeys, not to mention all the different species of birds.

Guanacaste Lots are also close to the Guanacaste mountain range which include 4 volcanoes: Orosi, Rincon de la Vieja, Miravalles and Tenorio. And less than a 2 hour drive from the Monteverde cloud forest.
